Job Vacancy For Account Officer



Job Description:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable: Ensure bills are raised and paid on time, track expenses, and follow up on overdue payments from clients.
• Process financial transactions: Record all financial transactions, process invoices, and prepare and issue payments.
• Maintain financial records: Keep detailed and accurate records of all incoming and outgoing payments, cross-check invoices with payments, and maintain ledgers.
• Reconcile accounts: Ensure the accuracy of financial data by cross-referencing company records with original documents and reconciling accounts with the general ledger.
• Report on financial activity: Prepare and submit financial reports, such as monthly and quarterly reports, for management review.
• Handle financial queries: Act as a point of contact for internal and external financial inquiries from clients or staff.
• Ensure compliance: Check for accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Education: A degree in accounting or a related field is often necessary.
• Professional certification: A certification such as a CPA or ACCA may be preferred.
• EXPERIENCE: 2 to 3years
• Proficiency in accounting software: Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks or Sage is often required.
Strong attention to detail: Essential for accurately tracking and recording financial transactions.
• Excellent communication skills: Necessary for communicating with clients and internal staff about billing and payments.
• Organizational and time management skills: Required for managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: A common requirement for data entry and financial analysis.
