Job Summary
• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Officer / Quantity Surveying Officer to support the planning, execution and cost management of construction projects.
• The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, consultants and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning, coordinating and supervising construction projects
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities and progress valuations
• Monitor project costs, variations and cash flow
• Support procurement of materials, subcontractors and services
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and safety standards
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
• Assist in contract administration and claims management
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers, contractors and clients
• Support project scheduling and progress tracking
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of BSc in Construction Technology & Management
OR
• BSc in Quantity Surveying & Construction Economics
National Service completed
• 0–3 years relevant work experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials and site operations
• Basic understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
• Ability to prepare cost estimates and project documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project); knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work on construction sites when required
