Job Vacancy For Project Manager – Northern Sector



Duties and Responsibilities

• Pre-Construction site preparation
• Monitoring and Evaluation of projects
• Supervise, monitor and inspect construction works
• Ensure project compliance with national and local authority requirements
• Chairing of progress and technical meetings
• Value engineering
• Review monthly progress reports from engineers for onward submission to stakeholders
• Coordinate all project site activities with engineers to ensure proper distribution of resources to site
• Supervise quality control tests for material used for the construction
• Monitor and ensure adherence to planned schedules and programmes, implementing rescheduling and remedial measures when necessary
• Evaluation of works programme i.e weekly programmes from engineers before submitting to site for use
• Any other duties assigned

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Building Technology or a related field plus a minimum of 10 years of construction supervision work experience in a similar position
• Must be a construction site person
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Experience working with stakeholders at various levels
• Must possess solid project management skills, client influencing and relationship-building skills
• Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) softwares such MS Project, Autocad, Etc
