A reputable financial institution in the Ashanti Region is seeking to recruit qualified persons for the following position: Head of ICT

Job Purpose

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

•Support the preparation of the ICT budget
•Advise management on relevant software applications and digital solutions
•Set objectives and strategies for the ICT Department in line with the Bank's corporate goals
•Select and implement appropriate technologies to streamline internal operations and optimise strategic benefits
•Design and customize technologist systems and platforms to delight both internal and external customer experience
•Oversee the Bank's technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) to ensure optimal performance and reliability
•Plan, coordinate and manage ICT-related projects
•Monitor technological developments and emerging trends to identify opportunities for competitive advantage and continuous improvement

Qualification required & Experience

•A Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field
•A minimum of 5 years experience in a senior management position
•Proven professional experience in the financial services or banking sector
•Sound knowledge of emerging trends in banking and financial systems
•Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the banking and ICT environment
•Relevant and varied management experience
•Experience in coordinating the deployment of ICT systems for practical use by stakeholders
•Professional certificates in relevant ICT programmes
