Job Vacancy For Planning & Customer Relations Officer



Job Purpose

•The successful applicant shall coordinate the preparation of business plans consistent with the company's vision, mission and external trading environment and generate management information based on actual performance versus plan, for management action within the framework of the policies and procedures of the company

Principal Accountabilities

•Co-ordinate the preparation of annual planning calendar to serve as a backbone for all corporate planning activities in the company
•Collate relevant economic, financial and operational data to facilitate the planning process
•Provide data and assistance to Departmental Heads to prepare Departmental Plans and coordinate the implementation of approved plans
•Prepare periodic (monthly, quarterly and annual) performance reports highlighting key variances, business risks and improvement opportunities for management decision-making
•Coordinate the preparation of 5 years rolling strategic plans and annual business plans
•Ensure that customers receive enhanced service by providing a friendly environment and maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service
•Receive and investigate all complaints resented by customers and report them to management for redress
•Implement programmes aimed at improving communication with customer, efficiency in customer service operations and revenue recovery
•Keep abreast of current issues and trends on imports of similar products of the company
•Conduct and analyse customer survey and quality assurance data
•Participate in the development and implement of programmes, systems, procedures and methods of operations

Qualification Required & Experience

•First Degree in Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
•Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience
•Knowledge of business planning, customer relations, data analysis, performance monitoring techniques and corporate reporting
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Must be a person of high verifiable moral character and proven integrity
•Knowledge able in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO4001:2018 Management systems
