Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of project costs, from initial estimates through to final accounts. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs)
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budget
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and support procurement processes
• Manage contracts, variations, and claims
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and cost implications
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients

Qualification Required & Experience

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field
• Minimum of 2–5 years relevant experience in construction cost management
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Good communication and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification or membership with a recognized body preferable
• Experience working on residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with contract administration and procurement processes
