We are seeking a qualified and results-oriented professional to join our team as an IT Officer.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and support core banking systems and other IT applications
•Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software, printers and network systems
•Ensure data security, backup and disaster recovery procedures are implemented
•Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
•Manage user accounts, access controls and cybersecurity measures
•Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers
•Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements
•Provide training and technical support to staff
•Any other duties that may be assigned by management/Head of IT

Qualification Required & Experience

•Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
•Minimum of 2-3 relevant work experience (preferably in a financial institution)
•Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity and database management
•Experience with core banking systems will be an added advantage
•Professional IT certifications (e.g, Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA) will be an advantage
