Job Vacancy For Director of Administration
Job Purpose
•Under the supervision of the Chief Executive the Director of Administration will maintain an effective administrative support system for the smooth running of the hospital. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, management, and expert advice on all administrative matters within Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
•Manage official high-level correspondence and compile comprehensive administrative reports
•Advise executive leadership on operational improvements and administrative procedures
•Ensure the consistent availability of supplies and logistics, advising on strategics resource allocation and utilization
•Coordinate/collate the preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the hospital's corporate and annual operational plans
•Supervise the preparation and consolidation of the hospital's annual budget
•Ensure the clear and effective dissemination of health administrative information to staff and clients
•Promote and enforce adherence to institutional health and safety policies, guidelines and protocols
Qualification Required & Experience
•Must be a Senior Professional currently on the payroll of the Ministry of Health (MOH) or any of its agencies
•A postgraduate qualification in Administration or related field. (Master's Degree or its equivalent/higher) would be an added advantage
•Must be a registered member in good standing with a relevant, recognised professional body
•A minimum 12 years of dedicated working experience, with at least 5 years at the level of a Principal Officer or above.
•Practical knowledge and experience in policy planning, monitoring, evaluation and contract administration

•Broad knowledge of MOH/KATH policies, operating procedures and healthcare quality assurance issues
•Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal and conflict-management skills
•The ability to lead, manage and inspire multi-disciplinary teams under pressure to meet tight targets
•Strong problem-solving abilities, advocacy, negotiation skills and a methodical approach to work
•Advanced computer literacy, a goal-oriented mindset and unquestionable professional integrity
