An administrative assistant is the organizational backbone of an office, ensuring smooth daily operations through a mix of clerical, communication, and organizational tasks. The role is considered entry-level, though the responsibilities can be quite varied.

Core Job Duties

• Communication & Reception: Answering and directing phone calls, managing emails, greeting visitors, and handling inquiries.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Managing calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings, booking meeting rooms, and coordinating travel arrangements.
• Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintaining filing systems (both physical and electronic), performing data entry, preparing and proofreading documents, reports, and presentations, and taking meeting minutes.
• Office Management: Ordering and managing office supplies, monitoring inventory, and coordinating with vendors.
• Financial Support: In some roles, they assist with basic bookkeeping, processing invoices, handling expense reports, and preparing purchase orders.

Qualification Required & Experience

Requirements:

• Candidates with Degrees in Business Administration, Office Management, or Accounting have a competitive edge.
