Job Vacancy For Superintendent – Mechanical Crushers



OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

Provide expertise in the operation and maintenance of crushing and associated processing infrastructure, and optimize equipment performance to meet scheduled production rates, ensuring a minimum of 800 tons per hour at p80 passing 30 minimum.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

•Implement the Company Safety Policy.
•Resource, train and direct personnel to clarify responsibilities and achieve targeted plant availability.
•Ensure written schemes and procedures are detailed and comprehensible for electrical and instrumentation activities.
•Perform 5% over-inspection of daily inspections and preventive maintenance.
•Identify and implement improvements in processes, materials and designs to reduce maintenance cost and improve quality and productivity.
•Produce weekly plant activity reports including equipment condition, spares availability and area plans, and provide technical support to resolve quality, productivity, timeliness and cost issues.

Qualification Required & Experience

•Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or its equivalent.
•Certified by Inspectorate Division of the Minerals Commission of Ghana as an Engineering Superintendent.
•Member of Ghana Institution of Engineers (GHiE).
•Valid Ghanaian Driving Licence and proficiency to drive light vehicle.

Experience

•Minimum of eight (8) years working experience in a similar role.

Knowledge & Skills

•Very strong human relations skills and ability to interact with people of diverse cultures and values.
•Advanced knowledge of preventative, predictive, and shutdown maintenance strategies.
•Strict familiarity with the Minerals and Mining Regulations of Ghana.
•Sound business acumen in managing OPEX/CAPEX budgets, component rebuild cycles, and critical spare parts inventory.
•Deep technical expertise in heavy-duty crushing (jaw, gyratory, cone) and ore transfer systems.
