About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Risk & Analysis Manager – Ghana to support and strengthen our iGaming and sports betting operations in the Ghanaian market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, monitoring and mitigating financial, betting, player, fraud and operational risks across the business.

The role will analyse sportsbook and casino activity, customer behaviour, deposits and withdrawals, promotional activity and transactional data to identify unusual patterns, emerging risks and potential areas of financial exposure.

The position will also provide management with accurate and actionable analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage sportsbook and gaming risk.
• Identify and investigate player risk and potential fraudulent activity.
• Monitor deposits, withdrawals and other payment-related risks.
• Analyse betting, player, transactional and operational data to identify unusual patterns and emerging risks.
• Investigate bonus abuse, multi-accounting, payment fraud, suspicious betting activity and related risks.
• Develop and maintain effective risk controls, rules, alerts and monitoring processes.
• Prepare dashboards, reports and management analysis to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for risk-control and process improvements.
• Support Compliance and Responsible Gaming activities.
• Work closely with the Country Manager and teams across the business to address risk issues.
• Provide timely analysis and recommendations on emerging risks and potential financial exposure.
• Balance effective risk management with legitimate customer activity and commercial objectives.

Qualification Required & Experience

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in iGaming, sports betting, online casino, fraud, risk management, trading, payments or data analysis.
• Strong understanding of sportsbook operations, betting markets, odds, liabilities and player behaviour.
• Good understanding of online casino operations and associated player risks.
• Demonstrable experience in fraud detection, player risk monitoring or transactional analysis.
• Experience investigating bonus abuse, multi-accounting, payment fraud, suspicious betting activity or similar risks.
• Experience within the Ghanaian, West African or broader African gaming market is highly advantageous.
• Previous experience working in a regulated gaming environment is preferred.

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with SQL is highly desirable.
• Experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Strong ability to identify patterns, anomalies, correlations and unusual behaviour across multiple data sources.
• Ability to develop clear dashboards, reports and management analysis.
• Good understanding of risk rules, alerts, thresholds and automated monitoring systems.
• Strong numerical and statistical reasoning.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will mean establishing a strong, data-driven risk management framework for the Ghanaian operation that protects the company from fraud, betting exposure, payment abuse and operational losses while supporting legitimate customers and sustainable commercial growth.
The successful candidate will provide management with a clear and timely understanding of the company's risk exposure, ensure emerging threats are identified early, and support effective investigation of significant incidents.

The Risk & Analysis Manager will also serve as a trusted analytical partner to the Country Manager and wider management team, using data and insights to support sustainable and profitable growth while maintaining strong risk controls.
