JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Head of marketing with dotted line to the A&P budget coordinator, the holder will project manage all Tigo marketing campaign and brand activities to ensure adequate planning and allocation of resources for excellent implementation and execution

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

•   Work closely with functional managers in marketing and act as project manager for the various activities of the department.
•   Maintains and is responsible for developing detailed timelines, project plans, and project deliverables and key milestones.
•   Manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand project progression in the context of marketing and commercial team expectations.
•   Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including communication of project status to all key team members
•   Responsible for observing and re-evaluating project priorities with internal partners
•   Lead internal project status meetings and ongoing project schedule updates.
•   Has general oversight of the marketing budgets and manages allocation of budget resources to each project.
•   Ensures that all Cross-Functional-Team activities are effectively developed, monitored, evaluated and feedback to the respective functional heads i.e.Marketing, GTM, MFS, Commercial….
Marketing Management
•   Work closely with Head of marketing and brand team to develop annual brand marketing plans
•   Drive marketing teams to execute planned campaigns as per the marketing roadmap
•   Work closely with marketing team to ensure smooth execution of marketing campaigns.
Budget
•   Lead brand finance team to raise PR and associated PO for all marketing cost
•   Assist the A&P budget coordinator in the management of the overall A&P budget
•   Regular update to marketing team on A&P spend, commitment and outstanding budget
•   Works with the Head of marketing in designing a value-for-money framework for all items on the marketing roadmap
•   Works closely with the A&P managers in tracking and monitoring all budget elements.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   University degree in Administration, Economics, Marketing, or social sciences
•   3+ years relevant post National Service working experience in Telecoms/FMCG;
o  Prior experience in project management;
o  3+ years  experience in brand management;
o  Prior experience in A&P management.

o  Microsoft project for intermediate or advanced users (Pre-requisite)

•   Ability to work effectively with a wide range of cultures in a diverse community.
•   Willingness to travel to ensure smooth take-off of all marketing activities across the country.
•   Excellent interpersonal skills
