Airport Clinic Limited, situated at the Kotoka International Airport, seeks applications from a suitably qualified, proactive and enthusiastic person to fill the under-mentioned vacancy: Assistant Director of Finance
Key Performance Output
Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following functions among others
•   Ensure the formulation of business strategies and plans
•   Ensure the preparation of annual financial statements consistent with the standard prescribed by laws, regulations and accounting conventions
•   Ensure the production of monthly management accounts and performance statements for the Board and management.
•   Establish and maintain an effective accounting system and a framework of business controls
•   Liaise with departmental heads in the implementation of corporate financial policies systems and procedures
•   Ensure the training and development of staff to meet departmental objectives
•   Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time
Qualification Required & Experience
The applicant must have the following qualification:
•   Must be a qualified member of a recognised professional accounting body such as CA,ACCA or CIMA
•   BSc in Administration (Accounting Option)
•   Must possess a minimum of seven (7) years post qualification experience of which 5 years must be in a senior management positin
Working Experience
•   Must have 5 years working experience in similar position
Technical Skills
Applicant must possess the following skills:
•   Must be well versed in finances
•   Good communication skills
•   Good management, administrative and organisation capabilities
•   Ability to work under pressure
•   Good time management for self and other employees
•   Must have people management skills
•   Good leadership qualities
•   Must be computer literate
