Job Vacancy For Industrial Relations Manager



Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist in the formulation and implementation of industrial relations, social and labour policies to meet the needs of the organisations members and clients

Core Responsibilities

• To advice members on their internal industrial relations practices and labour issues
• Conduct collective bargaining negotiations on behalf of members and clients
• Provide advisory services/support to members on general conditions fo employment
• Undertake research into particular industrial relations issues
• Represent members and/or clients at the National Labour Commission
• Facilitate settlement/resolution of industrial disputes between members and their unions and workers
• Maintain up to date information on legistative industrial relations
• Recruit new members for the association
• Visit new members/liaison with associations

Qualification Required & Experience

• Must possess a minimum of Masters Degree in Social Science or Law or related field with 5 years post qualification experience in HRM and in-depth knowledge on industrial relations in Ghana
• Lawyers with at least 2 years experience at the bar can apply
• Must be a team player, organized and enthusiastic with relevant experience in negotiations, labour issues, trade union activities among others
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be computer literate
