The governing council of Tamale College of Education announces the following vacant position: Vice Principal

The position/job description

• The College Vice-Principal shall assist the College Principal in the overall management, administration, academic and disciplinary issues of the college in accordance with the colleges of Education Act, 2012 (Act 847).
• He or shall act in the absence of the college Principal among other duties

Qualification Required & Experience

The Vice-Principal of the college must:

• Possess a research postgraduate degree
• Be at least a Principal Tutor in the college of Education
• Be a distinguished teacher and a scholar in teaching and learning
• Be of good character and demonstrate high degree of personal and professional integrity
• Have good knowledge and understanding of the challenges facing the colleges of Education in Ghana
• Have high emotional intelligence and capacity to manage crisis
• Be able to complete at least one term of 3 years before attaining the compulsory retirement age of sixty 60 years
