Job Vacacy For Business Development Manager / Management Consultant At International Learning Centre



A new educational institution – International Learning Centre with centres in Ghana, UK and USA, is looking to engage the services of a high-energy Business Development Manager/ Management Consultant. The candidate should be bright, confident, results-oriented and have excellent analytic, communication and organizational skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES:

The Business Development Manager’s responsibility and duties include, but are not limited to, identifying niches in the market place, developing business plans, marketing plans and getting customers. Such duties involve marketing of the business to generate a pre-defined revenue target by:

•   Researching the market and competition to establish current and possible future trends of customers. Proposing new services and pricing strategies for a wide range of educational services.
•   Developing and delivering innovative business plans by carrying out research, to establish opportunities and delivering accurate business reports in accordance to goals and objectives.
•   Creating a unique and diversified services portfolio.
•   Developing and implementing Song and short-term business strategies for the organization.
•   Developing a situation analysis of the organization to assist in the development of a strategic plan for the future of the business and creating opportunities to generate diverse revenue streams.
•   Attracting new customers with good business proposals, communicating with target audiences and developing customer relationships.
•   Adopting a hands-on approach in monitoring the execution of business plans to achieve measurable revenue targets.
•   Developing promotional partnerships with strategic institutions to enhance growth and returns.
•   Preparing business development plans, work plans and any other duties as may be assigned.

Qualification Required & Experience

PERSON SPECIFICATION

•   A master Degree in Business Administration or related field.
•   At least 5 years proven record working in a comparative capacity with
•   experience in business development and consultative selling.
•   Knowledge of higher education in Africa and experience in Educational Services Sales/Institutional Sales.
•   Innovative and highly-competitive self-starter, who is solutions-oriented and has a results-driven attitude, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
•   Should have a strong presence, excellent communication and organizational skills and have the ability to work unsupervised.
•   Computer skills: Microsoft Office, MS Project, internet skills, and proficiency in learning/education management systems.
•   Knowledge of distance learning and e-Learning is an asset.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT

•   The appointment is a contract for a period of two-years renewable.
