Job Vacancy For Accounts Officer At GHS Housing Limited



GHS Housing Limited is a dynamic and a fast growing real estate development and civil engineering company. As part of this demanding phase of our growth we are looking for an Accounts Officer for immediate employment:

The job responsibility will include, but not limited to;

•   Liaise with HR on all payroll matters.
•   Collate, input, check and process monthly payroll, including expense claims and other one-off transactions.
•   Reconcile all payroll related general ledger accounts unto the payroll.
•   Prepare monthly and periodic statistical payroll returns.
•   Ensure Control accounts are in balance at all times.
•   Ensure Clients receipts are allocated correctly.
•   Reconcile Clients ledgers monthly to ensure they are accurate and fully updated.
•   Ensure all credit notes are property authorized.
•   Process journals and general ledger maintenance as necessary, accurately and in a timely manner.
•   Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports.
•   Assist the Finance Manager with budget input and monitoring.
•   Assist with allocation of overheads to departments.
•   Produce all financial reports in accordance with published timetables.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   First Degree, HND in Accounting or a Part II qualification in CIMA
•   At least one year experience in a similar role
•   Should be conversant in the use of accounting software especially Tally
•   Should have good knowledge of general taxation procedure and regulations
