Job Vacancy For Assistant Accounts Officer (Tamale)



A reputable State Owned Enterprise is inviting applications from suitable qualified persons for appointments to fill the following position:- Assistant Accounts Officer

Job Function

•   Implements financial policies and procedures for the planning and control of the region's finances
•   Maintains appropriate records and accounts designed to show the financial position of the region at all time
•   Establishes appropriate internal controls to safeguard the region's assets
•   Maintains efficient costing and budgetary control system, provides timely information to Zonal Operations Manager and brings to the attention of zonal management significant variances from planned performance
•   Implements appropriate policies and procedures for petty cash, signing authorities, internal control, credit control, asset register, etc. aimed at safeguarding th region's assets.
•   Provides guidance and co-ordinates the preparation of annual budgets
•   Prepares monthly financial reports for the attention of Regional Director
•   Prepares final draft accounts for the region
•   Performs any other duties that may be assigned for time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

•   DBS, ACCA, CA (Gh.) Level 1 or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
