Job Vacancy For Assistant Administrative Officer



A non-governmental, not-for-profit, organisation established to preserve and conserve the cultural and historic heritage in the central region of Ghana is looking for suitable individuals for the position of the Assistant Administrative Officer.

Job Title: Assistant Administrative Officer

General Purpose

• Assist with all aspects of administrative management, directory maintenance, logistics equipment and storage
• Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning of document
• Handle daily mail and enquiries from visitors
• Keep records of visitors and calls received daily
• Provide customer service to visitors
• Take accurate minutes of meetings
• Cover the reception desk when required
• Any other activity as may be assigned by the Executive Director and in line with the staff Manual

Qualification Required & Experience

• Higher National Diploma (Secretary & Management Studies) or Bachelor's Degree in Management from an accredited tertiary institution
• Experience in preparation, documentation and management of internal and external correspondences
• Proficiency in the use of office software such as Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Good communication skills
• Two or more working experience in similar position
