Marie Stopes International Ghana (MSIG) has vacancies for well-organized, client oriented and multi-tasked individuals with relevant qualifications and experience to occupy the vacancies listed below in the organization.

1. Quality Assurance Officer

The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for the clinical quality of service delivery in the franchised outlets. He/She will report to the Clinical Quality Assurance Manager. The Officer will be based in Accra and will be required to travel to other regions of Ghana.

Responsibilities include:

. Train, plan and develop training materials for franchisees.
. Implement quality surveys and checks using available tools
. Ensure franchisees are monitored and supported, using MSI - MDT / GHS clinical and health provision standards.
. Check competency of franchisees after training.
. Assist the franchisee to build, coach, motivate and maintain skilled and competent service delivery teams
. Ensure monthly major and minor incidence reports are prepared and submitted
. Ensure and spot check community based educators are counseling in communities in the right way.
. Certify that franchisee is clinically competent and outlet is equipped for demand creation.

The person must have / be:

. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and or Midwifery
. Licensed to practice in Ghana
. An Experienced Midwife with at least 3 years experience
. Experience of working in family planning.
. Evidence of good standing within a recognized clinical related professional body
. Articulate and analytical with attention to detail
. Knowledge of health delivery system in Ghana.

2. Social Franchise Field Officer

The Social Franchise Field Officer is responsible for the recruitment, training, ongoing support, monitoring and supervision of franchisees.

Responsibilities Include:

. Identify and recruit franchisees, assess and map doctors, midwives, nurses, pharmacies and chemical sellers.
. Monitor franchisees performance and ensure high quality and high volume in each outlet.
. Identify gaps in franchisee performance, suggest and implement intervention strategies or training needs.
. Identify demand creation gaps and prepare work-plans for the year.
. Lead community entry and advocacy (traditional authorities or leaders of communities) to facilitate activities.
. Liaise with government and GHS officials at district levels to facilitate activity.
. Carry our quarterly or monthly franchisee supervisory visits to all franchisees.
. Track performance and contract compliance of all franchisees and de-franchising where necessary

The person must have / be:

. A Bachelors Degree in Marketing / Sales or Diploma in Business Management / Administration
. At least 3 years post-degree work experience
. Experience of working in Marketing / Sales or Community Activation, Behavior change Communication and or project management.
. Field work experience required
. Excellent organization and co-ordination skills
. Good written and verbal communication skills

These are all local positions. Interested Non-Ghanaians must therefore have the necessary legal permits required to work in Ghana.
