A reputable institution seeks a: Biomass Expert

Objective of the Position

The objective of the position is to:

• Carry out effective compliance and monitoring of projects
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on programmes, projects and other related activities
• Develop bankable proposals for funding
• Provide licenses to service provider and
• Provide information to investors and the general public

Responsibilities

The person will be required to:

• Assist in the development of plans, programmes and projects for harnessing biomass project assessment and implementation
• Assist in the coordination of biomass project assessment and implementation
• Coordinate the preparation of standards for relevant technologies
• Develop and maintain database on biomass
• Perform any other duties assigned by the CEO

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of MSc in Renewable Energy / Engineering / Natural Resources Management / Environment
• Plus minimum of 6 years relevant working experience

OR

• Minimum of 5 years relevant international experience
• Plus proven expertise biomass

Skill Requirements

• Good report writing and presentation skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Practical knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher) and AutoCAD
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good work ethics and integrity
• Attention to details
• Passions to deliver results
