A newly established insurance company is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the following position: Branch / Regional Managers

Job Summary

• The ideal candidates will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the office such as insurance underwriting claim processing, marketing, etc
• Reports To: Head of Marketing

Responsibilities

• Directing all operational aspects, including underwriting, insurance auditing and customer service.
• Provide training, coaching, development and motivation for personnel
• Developing forecasts and strategies to promote the branch and get ahead of its competitors
• Develop Excellent relationship management with customers
• Design effective marketing plans to meet the company's targets
• Develop strong working relationships with underwriters, agents and brokers
• Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
• Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
• Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
• Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
• Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/application laws
• Network to improve the presense and reputation of the branch and company

Qualification Required & Experience

• A first degree from a recognised institution
• Minimum of 5 years of proven branch management experience with an insurance company/financial institution
• Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
• Ability to meet sales targets and branch goals
• Familiarity with industry's rules and regulations
• Excellent organizational skills
• Results-driven and customer focused
• Leadership and human resources management skills
