Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for appointments as: Business Development Manager in a leading roofing systems and metal trusses manufacturing company in Ghana with specialization in providing roofing to individual homeowners, private and public sector property developers, high street retailers and building merchants. The company is located in Accra with Branch offices in Takoradi, Kumasi and tamale.

Objective of the Position

•   Promoting sales and building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and managing business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

•   Identify and develop potential business opportunities
•   Analysing market position, negotiating positions, estimating customer needs and goals and taking business decisions
•   Identify and help develop business opportunities
•   Manage the business development centre efficiently to achieve set targets
•   Assist in building good customer relationship and customer satisfaction
•   Report on customer follow-ups to management

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration (Marketing) option or related discipline from a recognized institution
•   Membership of marketing professional institute will be an advantage
•   Minimum of 4 years of responsible sales and marketing practice

Skills and Competencies

•   Prospecting skills, Sales Planning, Selling to meet customer needs, Market knowledge, presentation skills, managerial skills
•   Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite particularly excel and powerpoint

Personal Competencies

•   Ability to relate effectively to people at all levels
•   Confident and flexible in working
•   Ability to train and motivate subordinates
•   Good verbal and written communication skills
