Job Vacancy For Cash Centre Manager At Stanbic Bank



The Role
To manage, co-ordinate, organise and control ail activities performed by the Cash Centre, assess and understand the risks associated with the handling of cash and maintain an effective system of controls.

Key Responsibilities

•   Coordinate cash requests from and deliveries to Point Of Representations (POR’s)
•   Provide corporate, commercial and retail clients an effective and cost efficient cash processing service
•   Reconcile Cash in Transit (CIT) and other central cash accounts
•   Assess the cash movement procedures to ensure that they serve the needs of the business while minimizing related risks.
•   Manage income recoveries and costs through proper budgetary and financial controls
•   Ensure that all security arrangements (physical security and systems control) are maintained and adhered to in terms of laid down policy

Qualification Required & Experience

•   1st degree or professional qualification in Banking or Accounting,
•   10 years banking experience that includes understanding of branch operations

Skills & Abilities

•   A full understanding of the various processes, procedures and equipment within Cash Centres
•   Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft applications.
•   Negotiation and Presentation Skills
•   Client Service oriented, enjoys dealing with clients and people
•   Good numerical ability
•   Socially confident and able to establish rapport with all key stakeholders
•   Strong problem solving and decision making skills
