Job Vacancy For Chief Executive Officer At Ahantaman Rural Bank (Agona Nkwanta)



Ahantaman Rural Bank Limited with its Head Office at Agona Nkwanta in Ahanta-West District of Western Region of the Republic of Ghana would like to invite suitably qualified persons to fill the position of a CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER.

JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES

•   To  provide  business and operational  leadership  and  direction  for the achievement of the objectives of the Bank.
•   Responsible for checking the accuracy of financial data reported to the Board of Directors, regulatory bodies and shareholders.
•   To implement successful operational policies and strategies for the Bank.
•   To be responsible for the day to day management of the operations of the Bank.
•   To design, organize and implement all Bank activities and programmes.
•   Co-ordinate and control operational activities between Head office and the Branches.
•   Ensure timely submission of weekly, monthly and quarterly returns to ARB Apex Bank, the Bank of Ghana and other regulatory bodies.
•   Monitoring the subordinates to ensure good performance and maximize returns on investment for the bank.
•   Undertake any duties that may be assigned by the Board of the Bank to ensure the sustainability of its operations.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   First Degree holder in a relevant discipline or holder of professional qualification.
•   A second degree (Masters) will be an advantage.

SKILLS SPECIFICATION

•   At least 10 years experience in the financial and banking industry, 8 years of which must have been at the management level.
•   Thorough knowledge about banking rules and regulations.
•   Excellent knowledge in banking operations.
•   Must be results – driven and deadline conscious.
•   Must be proactive and self-driven in decision making.
•   Must have strong business acumen.
•   Excellent management – enhancement and administrative skills.
•   High sense of respect and integrity, arid in addition, be effective and efficient in deposit mobilization.
•   Good interpersonal skills and confidence to relate to people at all levels.
•   Proficient in English and Akan. Ability to communicate in Ahanta wiii be an added advantage.
•   Good analytical skills.
•   Excellent computer proficiency, particularly in data analysis and T24 banking software.

AGE LIMIT

•   Not more than 50 years of age.
