Local and international non-profit organisations are partnering to expand their programme portfolio in Ghana with a particular focus on supporting sustainable fisheries and coastal management initiatives. The following specialist position is expected to become available in early 2014.

Job Summary

•   Will conduct social marketing campaigns in coastal communities concering ways and means to improve the management of the small scale fisheries sector and address other development issues of concern in coastal communities.
•   Prepare outreach materials and events communicating programme results using multimedia approaches including press, radio and web-based media

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred, in a related field with at least 5 years experience working working with press, public media outlets, or in public relations.
•   Skills utilising web-based and radio oriented social media outlets a plus. Strong writing skills required
