A leading pharmaceutical company seeks to recruit a reliable, results oriented and competent health and medical/pharmaceutical professionals to fill the position of: Consultant Medical Representative

Key Responsibilities:

•   Develop and maintain "Key Accounts" according to territory definition and products portfolio needs and requests
•   Develop and maintain active "targets list" of prescribers/pharmacies/product users/wholesales/Key Opinion Leaders/Health Organizations etc to be called on and be provided with an excellent on-going service on their medical-healthcare needs.
•   Provide the Ghana medical professional, pharmaceutical products, for their successful and correct prescription/use
•   Perform at all times, in compliance with Ghana Ministry of Health rules and regulations as well as with Pharmaceutical industry ethics code of conduct, ethics and regulations.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   MD/Pharmacist/Biochemist/Chemist/Biologist/Medical Technologist or equivalent
•   3 years post qualifying work experience plus 2 years pharmaceutical sales experience in Ghana. Contacts in the Health and Medical/Pharmaceutical field in Ghana is an added advantage

Competencies and Requirements

•   Ghanaian or Foreign national with valid work permit
•   Strong communication skills in English language (spoken - written)
•   Ability to prepare proposals and tender documents
•   Computer literate
•   Dynamic / Willingness to perform under pressure / Reliable / Results oriented
•   Ability to manage a territory and willing to travel
•   A valid passport and valid driving license required
