An International Oil services company seeks the services of an Control & Instrument Engineer.

Job Summary

•   Specify and design: DCS, ESD & F&G Systems including Control and shutdown philosophy, System Architecture Development, Equipment Specifications, DCS Functional Specification, ESD Cause & Effect Diagrams, F&G Cause & Effect Diagrams, F&G Layouts and Work-pack generation.
•   Undertake C&I engineering design work in with true regard to Safety both in design and engineering design execution

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree Qualified within Instrumentation and Control Engineering is essential
•   Extensive professional experience (10+ years) in Instrumentation and Control Engineering
•   Significant experience with Intrinsically Safe design concepts and Instrumented Protective Functions (IPF)

Job Experience

•   Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of the electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields
•   Excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications
•   Competent use of relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite and electrical engineering specific software
