About this job

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Corporate Sales Executive will be responsible for growing subscriber base and to analyze market trends with a view to identifying additional sales opportunities.

The main objective of the role is to ensure that all set sales targets are achieved with maximum profitability, guided by the set KPIs, standards and measures.

Role Definition

•   Assisting with planning, developing and executing yearly strategic sales plan
•   Pro-actively prospect, manage and grow new customer accounts (corporate) and revenue associated with our services
•   Selling consultatively and making recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions.
•   Conducting sales calls, schedules, and promotional work and tracking sales activities.
•   Preparing proposals and provide information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates.
•   Gathering and synthesizing data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing.
•   Maintaining sufficient funnel levels to deliver on budget obligations and support future growth
•   Researching trends and developments in industry through the use of related  publications, internet and training sessions to maintain and grow current knowledgebase
•   Maintaining accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow up activities

Qualification Required & Experience

•   University degree in Business (Marketing option) or B. A. Degree (Psychology) or HND (Marketing option) and/or CIM
•   Minimum of 2 years experience in selling and /or marketing services preferably in an IT or IT-related customer-oriented business
•   Highly proficient in all MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM (Salesforce, sugarCRM, SAP)
•   Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven capabilities in creating and delivering comprehensive outcomes to key business collaborators and stakeholders.
•   Demonstrable skills of being able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment and ability to work under pressure in time-challenged situations.
•   Flexibility and willingness to work long hours as and when required to meet established deadlines.
•   Strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to gather, organise, interpret and collate data from multiple sources.
•   Exhibit a strong ethos and personal passion for producing high-quality work products that focus on the company’s stated needs.
