A Multi-National Gold Mining company operating in Ghana is looking for Ghanaian nationals with the requisite qualifications to apply for the following position: Cubex ITH Trainer / Operator

Duties & Responsibilities

•   Ensure all tasks or activities are executed and aligned with standard operating procedures and safe work instructions at all times
•   Operate ITH Cubex drilling rigs for mine development according to quality specifications safely and efficiently
•   Read and interpret drilling operations
•   Ensure proper rig-up and rig-down procedures are strictly followed
•   Provide reliable and accurate operational knowledge and practical application to minimise down time and loss of production
•   Plan and mobilise equipment to drilling site (Tramming)
•   Perform other duties as may be reasonably assigned by your supervisor

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must possess at least MSLC/SHS Certificate or its equivalent from a recognised institution
•   Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience in underground mining operations
•   Must have detailed knowledge and experience in the operation of in-the-Hole (ITH) Cubex Machine
•   Must be able to read and understand designed ground support plans, detailed survey prints and layouts
•   Must have basic electrical and mechanical knowledge on the drill rig
•   Holder of mine rescue and valid First Aid Certificates will be an added advantage
•   Must have thorough understanding of underground mining operations and solid safety performance at the personal and professional level
•   Must possess a valid Ghanaian Driver's License with defensive driving skills
