Job Vacancy For Deputy Chief Inspector of Schools At Public Services Commission



JOB PURPOSE
To provide strategic leadership, technical and administrative support for the achievement of the mandate of the Board.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Coordinates the implementation of policies, programmes and activities of the Board.
•   Coordinates the development of appropriate internal structures, controls, management and decision-making systems and processes for the Commission.
•   Ensures the implementation of financial, budgetary and internal control systems for the effective and efficient management of the Board's resources.
•   Supervises the development, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the policies, plans, projects and activities of the Board.
•   Coordinates the preparation of quarterly, annual and other periodic reports on the programmes activities of the Board.
•   Provides inputs, information and data for the formulation of policies.
•   Supervises the implementation of the Board's policies, bye-laws, manual, standards, instruments, procedures and guidelines.
•   Coordinates the development and implementation of strategies for resource mobilisation from both private and public sectors.
•   Ensures efficient and effective management of the resources (human, material and finance) of the Board.
•   Coordinates inspection activities of the Board.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A minimum of a Master's Degree in relevant field, preferably, Education from an accredited tertiary institution.
•   A minimum of twelve (12) years post-bachelors degree relevant work experience, five (5) years of which must be in a Senior Management position in a reputable institution

AGE: Applicants must not be more than fifty (50) years old.
