Job Summary

Deputy Chief Of Party will play an integral role in leading programmatic activities and providing technical direction and managerial supervision for all aspects of the education program. S/he will liaise with senior government officials, community groups, and other stakeholders in representing the program.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Master s degree in education or related field.
•   10 years experience with increasing responsibilities in management of complex education programs in African countries, including leading large projects of similar size and complexity, guiding policy-level dialogue and/or action and managing a diverse range of expatriate and local staff.
•   5 years' technical expertise in education reform teacher professional development and/or early grade reading
•   Strong ability and experience to effectively coordinate, collaborate and partner with government, donors, civil society and private business to leverage resources
