Job Vacancy For Director of Administration At Ghana Statistics Service

Job Purpose
To provide strategic leadership, technical and administrative direction for the effective and efficient management of resources for the achievement of the objectives of the service

Duties and Responsibilities

•   Provides professional leadership and direction for the planning, budgeting and implementation of the activities of the Service
•   Ensures the availability of resources to support the activities of the Service
•   Oversees the design and maintenance of an effective system for monitoring and evaluating the activities of the Directorate for maximum results
•   Provides inputs for the annual budget and the strategic plan of the Service
•   Provides inputs for the preparation of the Annual Performance Report of the Service
•   Prepares and submits monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports of the Directorate
•   Coordinates the development of frameworks for policies and practices related to administration and logistics
•   Coordinates the work of the Units within the Directorate.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited tertiary institution in the Social Sciences or relevant field.
•   A minimum of ten years relevant work experience, five years of which must be in a senior management position in a reputable Institution.
A legal background will be an added advantage.
