We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Director of Admission and Development.  This is a full-time position at the school.

This is an exciting opportunity as MICS recently opened in August 2013..  As a boarding school in Ghana, MICs’ approach to education is unique- you will build broad-based understanding of what the MICS model is and what students and their families can expect.  In this role it is important that you are someone who is welcomed and welcoming, that you are viewed as a community partner, and “honest broker”, and that you become a go-to resource who will support and guide families who are interested in this unique opportunity of a private boarding school.  You will report to the Head of School and work closely with our core senior leadership team including the Head of School, Director of Business and Operations and Academic Coordinators- all of whom will be on-board in advance to prepare for school opening.

In this role, you will strategically identify and build relationships with potential students/parents in Ghana and abroad.  We are building from the ground up- you will identify and work closely with potential 8-17 year olds and create and initiate outreach and communication to families and prospective students.  This is a critical role for a new school- as the Director of Admission and Development you will be representing MICS to our most important constituents, students and their families.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor’s Degree; a Master’s Degree is preferred in relevant field
•   Minimum of 5-7 years admissions experience or related progressive experience
