Job Vacancy For Drilling Engineer At Eni Ghana Exploration & Production



Main responsibilities

•   To perform the well planning, including producing the Drilling Programme, following Safety Policies and Procedures, in order to contribute to a safe and effective operation.
•   To produce End of Well Report, collecting all the significant information about drilling activities, materials and technologies applied, contractor performance and possible difficulties encountered, in order to make these experience available for the future.
•   To supply well budget estimates for future operations and A.F.E.’s for current operations, ensuring the reliability of the data provided; to control the cost during the operations verifying the compliance with A.F.E.
•   To follow the progress of the drilling operations, making recommendations when problems arise to get them solved.
•   To contribute to the planning of exploration or development projects, providing technical drilling input to the project teams, in order to optimise cost and effectiveness of the project.
•   To appraise new technical developments and services to determine their applications in drilling operations, in order to improve time cost performance and safety conditions.
•   To assist his superior in contacts with partners, Government bodies and contractors in order to represent the company and report helpful information.
•   To contribute to produce Drilling Manuals to be included in the Well Safety Cases, in order to ensure compliance with the current legislation and with the company policies.

Qualification Required & Experience

Minimum Requirements

•   Technical high school education or BSc. in Engineering are required.
•   Experience as both a Drilling Supervisor and Drilling Engineer, in different operational environment., preferable.
•   Ability to be a team player, frequent interaction with other disciplines and third parties.
•   High level of professional and personal integrity.
•   Very good ability to work independently when required
•   Good degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs.
•   Good fluency in written and spoken English, particularly for contract terminology.
