Job Vacancy For Electrical Engineer At Ghacem Limited (Takoradi)



Ghacem Limited, a market leader in cement manufacturing in Ghana invites applications from suitable, qualified and highly motivated professionals to fill the following position:- Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

•   Supervise and coordinate the activities of all instrumentation and electrical technicians
•   Responsible for installing and commissioning and maintaining all process control instrumentation
•   Monitor and ensure that all protective relays at Power House are verified and calibrated
•   Monitor and ensure that electrical equipment and machinery are operating within their safe limits
•   Adhere and comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations of the company
•   Responsible for the maintenance, calibration and verification of all weight indicators to conform to statutory requirements
•   Execute and close all work orders assigned to the electrical section
•   Coordinate shut down maintenance activities between the electrical sections and other section/departments
•   Undertake any other jobs that may be assigned by superiors

Qualification Required & Experience

•   BSc Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 4 years in a Supervisory Position
•   Knowledge of the safe mode of operation of Heavy current electrical machines
•   Demonstrate knowledge of PLC based control systems
•   Ability to read and interpret PI & D documents
•   Knowledge of the procedures leading to environmental safety and quality management certification
