Job Vacancy For Engagement / Accountability / Communication Expert



Experts for the under-mentioned positions are required to support the implementation of a local government revenue enhancement project: Engagement / Accountability / Communication Expert

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction with regard to citizen engagement, change management and the accountability of the MMDAs towards its citizens
• Plan and organise field visits and training
• Maintain contact with the selected MMDAs (incl. site visits) supported under the project mentioned above to keep track of progress and results achieved, needs and challenges encountered, expertise and follow-up needed, continuous endorsement of the project and safeguard political willingness and support
• Identify needs and challenges to improve local taxes and decrease the local tax gap in relation to citizen engagement
• Assist in writing progress reports and preparation of documents
• Conduct any other task deemed necessary by the Project coordinator

Qualifications Required & Experience

The minimum qualifications for this assignment are as follows

• University degree in communication, Behavioral change
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in accountability/communication
• Proven experience with change management, setting up and facilitating technical assistance and capacity, building initiatives
• Strong planning, coordination and organizational skills
• Experience in documenting and recording
• Good writing and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work pro-actively with less supervision
