Job Vacancy For Equipment Hire Coordinator



Applications are invited for the position of: Equipment Hire Coordinator

Key Duties:

•   Build and develop a sustainable and profitable Equipment Hire business.
•   Schedule and plan AMS group fleet availability in the short and long term for customer services.
•   Market available fleet and their capacities to generate new customers and develop healthy long lasting business relationships with clients and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
•   Adhere to the AMS Plant Hire strategy to build up and monitor plant hire rates in conjunction with the Asset Manager.
•   Liaise with designated Operations Managers on opportunities and risks associated with equipment hire in their designated countries.
•   Travel regularly to all countries where AMS operates to target for equipment hire contracts.
•   React to clients' needs in a fast and accurate manner.
•   Manage an efficient, safe and effective operation by effectively managing the equipment and people and ensure all mandatory training is completed for a safe workplace.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Mechanical Trade Certification with a post-graduate qualification in Marketing.
•   At least 5 years of working experience or knowledge in wide range of mobile mining  equipment.
•   Strong focus on safety with the ability to manage an efficient, safe and effective operation of hired plant and people.
•   High knowledge of mining and associated equipment with the ability to offer technical advice to enhance customers' satisfaction.
•   Ability to build portable infrastructure for hire projects to ensure high standards of equipment and personnel.
•   Ability to understand and generate a scope of works and a responsibility matrix so that all obligations are followed for results.
•   Ability to handle multiple workloads with high standards and tight deadlines.
•   Ability to understand a P&L in order to drive business profitability.
•   Ability to work under a KPI regime to deliver a profitable business unit.
•   Self-motivated with the ability to manage their own time to produce results.
•   Ability to write professional correspondence and proposals.
•   Good knowledge of negotiation skills and ability to research market.
•   High standard of communication skills with good grasp of English.
•   Ability to speak French fluently will be highly regarded.
•   Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
•   Ability to handle multiple workloads with high standards and tight deadlines.
•   Must be capable of spending long periods away from designated office locations as per business needs.
•   Must have a valid Driving Licence and Travelling Passport.
