Job Summary

•  The role holder is responsible for managing the banking operations and all related processes which include frontline banking services and transactional activities (such as trade financing, reconciliation, centralized processing operations, clearing, SWIFT Operations, account services, customer support and back office support of treasury operations) in line with banking regulations and strategic goal.

Key Responsibilities

•   Develop operational strategies and other support systems (Operating manuals, standard operating procedures etc.) including monitoring mechanisms for the bank
•   Provide leadership and guidance to ensure effective implementation of strategies and policies for efficient customer service delivery
•   Direct and monitor Trade Finance, Treasury and Central Processing operations for risk mitigation, compliance and customer satisfaction
•   Oversee transfer and clearing operations and reconciliation of clearing differences
•   Oversee back-office support for Treasury and collection activities (Forex exchange, foreign and local cheques, bank drafts, shares, bonds etc.)
•   Direct, manage, develop and supervise Operations team to achieve unit goals and objectives

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Master's degree in Finance, Banking, Management Information Systems or related field
•   Must possess a fully qualified professional certificate in ACIB or equivalent
•   A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with 4 years in senior management position.

•   Sound knowledge in finance, technology and administration
•   Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
•   Advanced financial planning and investment abilities
•   Strong interpersonal skills and high level of maturity to manage interaction with different business units in the Bank
•   Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
•   A team player who can function independently
