Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical doctors for 2 years renewable contract position in GLICO Healthcare Ltd. The successful candidates must be very knowledgeable and experienced in telemedicine.

Role Specification

Principal duties and responsibilities would include:

• Answering calls from customers/patients and leading a structured medical conversation
• Carrying out a medical consultation, advising patients and following GLICO Healthcare's health service delivery protocols
• Prescribing appropriate medications as and when required
• Activating 2nd Medical Opinion protocols where necessary
• Generating required report for supervisors and all parties, amongs others

Qualification Required & Experience

• Be a senior medical officer registered with Ghana Medical & Dental council
• Have a 5 years post qualification experience excluding housemanship

Core Competencies

• Good Communication skills
• Good knowledge of IT and Digital platforms
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry and current medical events in Ghana
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Must be decisive, confident, proactive, result-oriented and a team player
• Possess the skill for attention to details
