We are a reputable Equity Holding Company currently into Finance, Hospitality, Logistics, Real Estates, Security Services, Advertising and Insurance

Duties & Responsibilities

•   Plan and prepare budgets in consultation with the Finance Advisor and Technical teams as basis for determining resource requirements for operations.
•   Assists the Finance Advisor in ensuring that operations and implementation procedures are consistent with the Group policies and objectives.
•   Ensure the effective use of Financial Accounting systems for recording, analyzing, reporting and presenting financial transactions and information.
•   Ensure that Internal Control Procedures are strictly adhered to ensure the financial administration processes are sound and reliable.
•   Maintain adequate books of accounts to reflect all financial transactions relating to the company.
•   Compile and submit monthly and periodic financial reports as would be required by management for decision making and external reporting.
•   Provide training and supervision to Finance Officers under his or her direct supervision to develop and improve skills and knowledge of the company’s financial policies and procedures, general financial administration and accounting systems.
•   Authorize payments/disbursements of funds in accordance with policies and procedures.
•   Perform periodic review or budget monitoring exercises and also provide advice to management at field level or other on expenditure/budget variances
•   Ensure the existence and effective implementation of internal control procedures to ensure a sound and implementing internal control systems.
•   Liaise with external auditors during annual audits
•   Prepare financial analysis/projections on the various aspects of the program showing cost effectiveness
•   Carries out all other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree in Administration (Major in Accounting) from a recognized University and a professional qualification in CA or ACCA.
•   A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Finance management in a related environment.
•   Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint mandatory)

•   Must have knowledge of International Accounting principles, Standards and GAAPS.
