Job Summary:

• We are seeking an Administrative and Accounting Assistant to join our team.
• The Assistant will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to various departments while also assisting with basic accounting tasks.
• This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in administrative tasks and basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to various departments, including scheduling meetings, answering phones, and managing correspondence.
• Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as processing invoices, expense reports, and payroll.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including tracking expenses and monitoring budget variances.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff and executives as needed.
• Manage office supplies inventory and order replacements as needed.
• Assist in the coordination of office events, meetings, and conferences.
• Provide general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in an administrative or accounting role is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
