OBJECTIVES OF POSITION

• Day-to-day administrative and human resource support to the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides support to the management of general administration and human resource for the delivery of the key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provides support for the management and the preparation of the organisation’s general meetings
• Helps develop reporting guidelines and formats. to ensure that all programmes reporting are timely, consistently accurate and complete Help to oversee the effective and efficient management of the organisation’s corporate administrative and human resource functions e. personnel, procurement, stores, estate, transport, security secretarial and records keeping
• Helps to ensure effective and efficient management of the files and records including appropriate records management protocols for hard copy and electronic documents, file organization. retention, retrieval and archiving
• Ensures that the office is in order and is designed to accommodate the disabled members of society so as riot to disadvantage their request for services and advice
• Helps to provide internal information to employees regarding changes in the organization or other helpful information
• Greeting and directing visitors. answering phone inquiries and handling complaints in a courteous professional manner
• Ensuring office supplies are maintained: including checking inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times
• Occasionally traveling off-site to deliver reports or files to other departments
• Ensuring the confidentiality and security of files and filing systems
• Operating copy equipment, fax machines, printers or other equipment necessary
• Prepare paperwork for human resources policies and procedures
• Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information
• Manage the department’s telephone centre and address queries accordingly
• Prepare reports arid presentations fie internal communications
• Provide information on company operations to orient new employees

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of First Degree in Public Administration or elated disciplines from a recognized University oi an equivalent professional qualification
• Must have completed National Service

In addition must have skills in:

• Information System / Technology
• Time management
• Detail-oriented
• Anticipate needs
• Personnel welfare Management
• Management Administration of General Services

SKILLS-MIX AND COMPETENCIES

• Good knowledge of human resource practices. legislation and regulations
• Well developed management and organization skills
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvements in administrative policy and practices.
• Good oral and written communication, presentation, and relationship-budding skill
• Sound grasps of records management principles
• Possesses business. management and administrative concepts, principles, best practices, and performance measures to help in the development and implementation of corporate business plans.
