Job Summary
We are looking for an Administrator to join our team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The Administrator is responsible for:
• Providing administrative and financial services
• Ensuring that financial and administrative regulations are complied with is responsible for financial management, such as cash withdrawals, keeping the cashbox, bank accounts, preparing and entering vouchers (Cashbook and Bankbook)
• Prepares the Withholding Tax schedule and payment
• Follows up on VAT issues
• Prepares and organises internal meetings and trainings
• Trains new development advisors in the administrative and financial procedures and formulas to use
• Co-ordinates with the GIZ office and the GIZ Head Office on the mode of service delivery
• Carries out internal controls, advises on financial aspects of projects
• Is responsible for filing documents in reference files or in DMS in line with GIZ's filing rules
• Manages confidential files
• Performs other duties and tasks at the request of management
Qualification Required & Experience
Qualifications and Competencies:
Formal Education:
• University degree in relevant specialisation and qualification in business administration (equivalent of BA or MBA)
Professional Experience:
• At least 5 years professional experience in a comparable position
Other knowledge, additional competence:
• Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (SAP, MS Office)
• Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
• Very good knowledge of the English and German language
• In-depth understanding of financial planning and accounting
• Board experience of management and administration
• Results-oriented performance
• Good communication skills
• Team player willingness to update skills as required by the tasks to be performed - corresponding measures are agreed with management
