Job Vacancy For Advocacy Consultant



Job Profile

• Leading evidence-based advocacy to mainstream safe water enterprises as part of the overall service delivery approaches in Ghana's mantional water policy, planning and programming
• Leading advocacy activities on behalf of the INGO and SWE implementers to ensure alignment between joint advocacy objectives is maintained (with clear accountability, communications and reporting lines to the INGO)
• Securing formalized relationships with SWE implementers with public sector organisations
• Making inputs into formal regulatory framework to support the expassion of SWEs and related activities in Ghana Developing relevant material and delivering presentation at major national international dialogue sessions

Qualification Required & Experience

• At least a Master's Degree in Social Science, Public Policy, Development Planning, Project Management or related field, with at least 10 years professional working experience in public advocacy work
• Experience leading evidence-based advocacy and delivering a minimum of 2 to 3 documented and/or tangible results in national policy, funding or budgeting through advocacy work
• Experience working with senior officials from the public sector, private sector, development partners and NGOs in Ghana's water sector in delivering a minimum of 2 to 3 advocacy results
• Experience in advocacy in West Africa countries (including Ghana) will be an added advantage
• Experience in report writing including, preparation of policy papers and briefing papers.
