Job Summary:

•Oversee the planning, design, continuous optimization of the converged RAN with the The Network Quality and Business Support Analyst is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the performance of the mobile and fixed networks and delivering customer excellence while providing analytical support to align network operations with business goals. •This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards set by the National Communications Authority (NCA) and supports MTN Ghana’s commitment to delivering high-quality services to its subscribers. The role will work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to maintain high standards of network quality and reliability, supporting the organization's commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Job Role

Network Performance and Customer Experience Management:

•Monitor Customer experience indicators both KPIs and KQIs and flag issues for quick resolution
•Gather and analyze network performance data to ensure quality and integrity align with MTN’s standards and best practices.
•Proactively monitor and investigate quality issues raised in forums, critically analyzing factors affecting network performance.
•Analyze NCA Quality of Service (QoS) drive log files and generate reports using agreed templates for reconciliation with the regulator.

Regulatory Compliance:

•Focus on network-related regulator (NCA) relations by tracking, monitoring, highlighting risks, and recommending action plans to ensure compliance.
•Liaise closely with MTN’s regulatory team to manage NCA QoS drives and reports generated by NCA Network Monitoring Systems to mitigate compliance violations.
•Benchmark NCA Network Monitoring System (NMS) reports against MTN’s internal reporting systems and make timely recommendations.
•Track QoS strategic initiatives and share regular reports on it

Business Support and Decision-Making:

•Drive visibility of quality issues and Network NPS improvement initiatives
•Create relevant dashboards triggering actions to provide stakeholders with relevant information on-time to support informed decision-making.
•Support research and analysis of network group statistics in relation to initiatives discussed in war room settings.
•Provide analytical insights to support business decisions, such as analysing monitoring and identifying customer complaint issues to network challenges and recommending solutions.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network performance with business objectives, including supporting enterprise business units initiatives.
•Identify and recommend improvements to network processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
•Any other roles as assigned by the line manager in relation to the job role

Qualification Required & Experience

Education

•Minimum of a University degree in Telecom Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
•A professional certification in Six Sigma is an added advantage
•Experience Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role in network quality assurance within the telecom’s environment

Knowledge

•Working knowledge of network quality and customer experience problem detection and follow up for quick resolution
•Skill in records/documentation keeping.
•Skills in presentation and technical reporting.
•Knowledge in GSM, WCDMA, & LTE and fixed networks' architecture, topology, protocols, and Interfaces.
•Knowledge in management systems associated to the different vendors
•Knowledge of performance monitoring, customer experience management and crowdsourcing tools
•Network quality and customer experience management
•Knowledge in use of reporting tools
•Good technical communication to non-technical staff
•Knowledge of Drive testing tools and analysis of drive test log files
