Job Purpose

• Handle the daily operations of insurance policies, including seeking new businesses, servicing of existing corporate and individual client accounts, managing underwriting and claims processes and ensuring customer safisfaction

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prospect and sell the products and service of the company
• Plan and deliver on sales strategies to achieve business and personal targets
• Prepare and undertake sales presentations to individuals, groups and associations or corporate bodies
• Effectively communicate business decisions and information to all stakeholders
• Continually review insurance policies to confirm that policyholder needs are best addressed
• Any other duties as and when deemed necessary

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related field
• Diploma in insurance will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience working in the insurance industry

Skills and Competencies

• Strategic thinking and ability to lead projects independently
• Client relationship and good customer service skills
• Strong sales, presentation and negotiation skills
• The ability to develop and deliver innovative ideas
• Good organizational, project management, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
• Candidates must have core computer and numeracy skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, time management and self-motivational skills
