Duties

• Assists in the deployment of programmes to enable the school meet its academic goals
• Assists in the enforcement of the school's policies, code of ethics and assist in maintaining discipline
• Assists in developing curricular, assessing teaching methods, monitoring pupil's progress, evaluating staff and overseeing facilities
• serves as the academic advisor to the Head teacher as its pertains to curriculum, academic programming, and personnel
• Supports best practices in curriculum and pedagogy, based on current research on teaching and learning
• Acts as an educational practices
• Other duties as assigned by the Head of School

Qualification Required & Experience

• A degree in Basic Education preferably with a Teacher's Certificate "A" 3 year P/S. An additional degree in Education Administration will be a plus
• Applicants must have been an Assistant Head in a primary or junior high school for a minimum of 5 years with a proven track record
• Must be computer literate
• Age: Between 40 to 45 years
• Applicants must have passed the teacher licensure examination
