Tropo Farms Limited is a rapidly growing aquaculture company that produces tilapia for the Ghanaian market. It is already the largest grower of tilapia in Ghana and seeks to become a world-class aquaculture operation.

Job Summary

The successful candidates will report to the Boat Operations Manager in the performance of their duties.

Essential Duties

•   Operate heavy-duty boats (100 ft./ 5OOHP boats), ferry boats and small crafts
•   Inspection and routine maintenance of boats assigned
•   To observe all safety regulations and operational standards.
•   Undertake any other duties that will be assigned by the manager.

Qualification Required & Experience

Technical Skills Experience

•   Possess operating licence with long years and experience in operating Heavy-duty boats
•   Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.
•   Very good recording and reporting skills.
•   Ability to perform open-water swimming in support of amphibious operations
•   Experience in the use of hand tools required for simple maintenance tasks on the boat.
•   Knowledge of deployment and recovery / towing procedures.
•   The duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.
