The ARB Apex Bank Limited is a Public Limited Liability Company Incorporated under the Companies Act, 1963 (Act 179) and owned by the Rural and Community Banks (RGBs) in Ghana. It is licensed by the Bank of Ghana to carry out banking business and other approved related activities.

Job Purpose:

The branch manager will manage the day-to-day operational activities of a well-equipped bank with specialise clients and shall report to the Head, Banking Operations

Key Responsibilities:

•   Develop and implement strategies for the effective operation of the branch
•   Efficiently manage the branch treasury
•   Oversee the daily operations of all e-Banking products of the branch
•   Timely supply of specie to RCBs
•   Supervise teller operations
•   Supervise CCC/ACH operation
•   Custodian of safe custody items
•   Take ownership and ensure timely response and resolution of RCBs issues.
•   Supervise and coordinate staff in an electronic banking environment.

Qualification Required & Experience

The applicant must possess the following:-

•   Applicants must possess a degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or any related discipline from a recognised University, with a minimum of eight (8) years post-qualification experience in a similar position or a professional qualification in Banking or any "related discipline with five (5) years post-qualification experience in a similar position in a financial institution.
•   A relevant second degree will be an advantage
•   Ability to work with very minimum supervision
•   Self-motivated with good Interpersonal Skills,
•   Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
•   Good planning and organisational skills
•   Proactive and results-oriented
•   Good team player
•   Proficient in the use of T24 banking application,MS office applications and the Internet.
